WHITNEY MORGAN

: The Title VI/AOA Director directs, plans and manages activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel as well as overseeing the equipment loan closet and caregiver program.

Oversees budget for the program and writes the grant for funding for program. Ensures grant money is used properly to provide for tribal members. Works closely with government officials to ensure the funds are being spent correctly.

Oversees 4 employees. Enforces rules and regulations to ensure program runs smoothly and effectively.

Maintains customer loyalty and addresses any problems or complaints with tribal or non tribal customers.

• Responsible for ordering food and creating menus to feed 500+ students at Riverton School District. In charge of 9 employees and responsible for making sure they are following state guidelines. Contacted vendors to work with them to get deliveries on time and efficiently.
• Managed inventory and was responsible for keeping cost low to maximize profit for the company.
• While at this position I became serve safe certified.
• Became familiar with ordering and receiving products.
• Designed and introduced leadership development, coaching and team management model, resulting in promotion of employees into increased levels of responsibility.
• Generated and reviewed incident reports, including employee write-ups, actualizing appropriate corrective action plans to mitigate ongoing and potential situations.
• Recruited, hired and trained all staff, providing direct supervision, ongoing staff development and continuing education to employees.
