Dialing in and monitoring equipment to verify proper adhesive flow, viscosity, and coating quality. Communicating with team members and other departments, such as maintenance or engineering, to troubleshoot problems with machinery or processes when necessary. Record production inputs and material usage for each job run on Workflow. Coordinated changeovers to clean, adjust equipment, and replace materials for new production orders, all while multitasking.
My daily responsibilities as an AASD Converting Operator were to perform daily checks on all equipment, such as the hoist and fork truck, prior to start-up each day. Read and verify work order sheets to ensure that all product label information, such as lot number, work order number, etc. are accurate.
