My daily responsibilities on the Winder End of 30SC were to measure and mix adhesives to accurately follow coating recipes from Process Standards. Dialing in and monitoring equipment to verify proper adhesive flow, viscosity, and coating quality. Communicating with team members and other departments, such as maintenance or engineering, to troubleshoot problems with machinery or processes when necessary. Record production inputs and material usage for each job run on Workflow. Coordinated changeovers to clean, adjust equipment, and replace materials for new production orders, all while multitasking.

AASD Converting Operator

My daily responsibilities as an AASD Converting Operator were to perform daily checks on all equipment, such as the hoist and fork truck, prior to start-up each day. Read and verify work order sheets to ensure that all product label information, such as lot number, work order number, etc. are accurate. Set up and operated slitter equipment to slit products according to customers' widths and sizes, all while inspecting products for quality purposes. Measure and record completed workpieces to verify specifications with calipers and scales, as per Process Standard. Record all input and output of the usage of materials and products onto Workflow.   • My daily responsibilities as a Jet Melt Operator included compounding raw materials, setting up machines per process standard specifications, monitoring and adjusting operations as needed for quality assurance, and setting up changeover for the next progression of orders. Perform and record onto MES the in-process test method on viscosity, overlap shears, heat resistance, peel PVC, specific gravity, ball and ring, solids, and moisture test. Record all input and output usage of materials and products onto Workflow. Communicate with team members and other departments, such as Engineers and Maintenance, for quality assurance purposes.
