I am currently studying at Missouri Southern State University for my bachelor’s degree in physical education. In 2022 I started work as a Paraprofessional at West Elementary School, head basketball coach at Belair Elementary School and assistant track coach/head coach at Thomas Jefferson Middle School.
As a paraprofessional at West Elementary School, I assisted the behavioral interventionist to help children improve their social interaction skills and schoolwork.
Being the boys head basket coach at Belair Elementary School won 7-0, earned the #1 seed in the playoffs but, came up short by 1 point in the semifinalist. After basketball season I became assistant track coach (Head Hurdles Coach) at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. We had a great season overall.
During the summer of 2023 I knew I wanted to work in the education field so I continued my degree in Physical education to become a P.E. teacher with emphasis to become a behavioral interventionist while still coaching sports.
I am the head hurdles coach
I would have a group of kids that are in the 3rd grade and do activity's with them, help them do homework, and watch them until their parents came and got them.
I worked 1 on 1 with a students that had behavioral issues and helped them with their school subjects and helped managed their behaviors.
The team went 7-0 and average 40 total points per game, which earned us the #1 seed in the playoffs. We made it to the semi-finals but lost by 1 point.
