I used a Thomas Guide for assistance for direction.

I was responsible for safety inspection of the vehicle and its equipment to assist non ambulatory patients. I assisted patients out of their homes to the vehicle and ensured their safety by using the appropriate safety equipment. I drove the patients to their appointments and cared for the patient should they have complications on their trip home after the appointment. I was responsible for logging daily inspections or any unusual unexpected event during each trip and for the day.

• Provided patient care by efficiently assessing and addressing medical emergencies and non emergencies.
• Improved patient outcomes by administering appropriate treatments based on thorough assessments of vital signs, physical conditions, and medical histories.
• Evaluated patient vital signs and status to determine care needs using pulse oximeters and blood pressure cuff. Charting all information gathered prior to arrival to call and during transportation.
• Continuously improved skills through regular training sessions, workshops, conferences, and staying up-to-date on industry best practices.
• Responsible for basic safety inspection of ambulance and ensured their ambulance stayed appropriately stocked and prepared for emergency and non emergency events.
