A committed Christ follower who loves God and His people. My desire is to help people, both young and old, become disciples of Christ who whole heartedly love God and actively help in the Great Commission of reaching the lost and making disciples.
Duties: Directed the Children's & Middle School Ministry serving 120 kids/teens from newborn to 8th grade, supported by over 90 dedicated volunteers. Developed and implemented age-appropriate curricula, visuals, music, and videos, and managed coordinators for various ministries, including Early Childhood, Sunday School, Kidz Church, JBQ, Girls' and Boys' Ministries, and Middle School. Provided counseling to children, teens, and families, coordinated special needs support, and organized major events such as Vacation Bible School and Harvest Festival. Assisted in broader church activities, including leading Communion, prayer services, and organizing church-wide events and classes.
Duties: Managed correspondence, maintained the Master Calendar, coordinated office responsibilities, communicated work production details to maintenance/custodial staff, ordered necessary materials, updated membership records, and produced bulletins, created artwork, designs and presentations, maintained financial congregational accounts.
Youth Assistant ('01-'04) - Duties: Spearheaded the planning and execution of all youth-focused events, including a major two-week ministry trip to New York and Washington D.C., as well as four annual youth and leader retreats. Managed membership records, oversaw communications and publications, handled student accounts, and diligently managed the youth budget, ensuring accurate tracking of income and expenses. Additionally, prepared for meetings and banquets, and efficiently organized small group communications and information.
Connections Ministry Assistant ('04 to'08) - Duties: Responsible for coordinating, planning, and organizing a variety of events and activities. This included managing small group celebrations, orientations, leadership meetings, and guest welcome luncheons, as well as conducting membership classes at multiple levels. Additionally, I oversaw the Thanksgiving outreach for 200 families, maintained small group records, handled communication and publications, managed the budget, and prepared for various events and meetings.
Assimilation Coordinator ('06 to '08) - Duties: Along with the role of Connections Ministry Assistant, I assumed the role of Assimilation Coordinator. This included the Greeters, Ushers, Guest Welcome Reception, Follow-up Team, and Parking-Lot Team. Under my leadership, the retention rate improved significantly, rising from 23% to 82% in just one year.
Duties: As an assistant to six pastors, my responsibilities included typing letters, filing, handling mail-outs, managing special projects, intercepting phone calls, and typing sermons. Special projects I worked on included Christmas and Easter productions, MAPS/AIM trips, and concerts. My administrative duties involved maintaining the master calendar, coordinating weddings, booking special speakers, coordinating office responsibilities, relaying work production to staff, ordering materials, organizing board meetings, and preparing all paperwork and presentations for annual and special business meetings. Additionally, I kept membership records current, created bulletins, designed PowerPoint presentations, arranged bus and van orders, scheduled conference arrangements, and created graphic designs.
Duties: Answered phones, maintained files, made appointments, received payments, billed clients, open/closed case files, and other various duties. Role included being the Assistant to the Prosecuting Attorney.
Duties: Opened/closed savings accounts, certificates, IRA's; located customers with dormant accounts, managed high-volume transactions, balanced cash drawers, and other various duties.
