  • My daily job is to process applications for CDL or Non-CDL drivers
  • They are applying for an Independent Contracting/1099 position
  • I pull background reports, analyze their driving record, and reach out to any previous employers per DOT requirements
  • I verify their information is correct and qualify them to drive for our company based on specific qualifications
  • I also follow-up with these applicants and complete certain tasks like a drug screen, and other requirements to contract on with them
  • Once that is completed, they are cleared and sent over to another department to start driving for the company, as long as all my information I have gathered is reliable, and true
  • I am team lead of my compliance department, which helps with other tasks for my direct supervisor, for example: stats for my department, gathering information from the department/team to see what we can do to make the process more successful, rallying the team together to make the environment fun to be around, and make sure our jobs are all done before we leave
