  • I store received materials in the proper location either for a work order or stock. I assist in managing recoverable materials for turn-in by receiving and processing them through G-army, printing out the 1348-lA and ensuring the correct paperwork reflecting the quantity, nomenclature, NIIN and condition code is attached to each material.
  • I also assist in packing the recoverable materials into adequate shipping containers in preparation for shipment to the Topeka Warehouse. I assist with transporting hazardous waste, such as used antifreeze and used oil, to the correct recycling center, the paperwork is correctly filled out, and that the label on each material is correct. I issue out POL and parts from work order to customers.
  • I pick materials from stock, store those in a location and mark each work order accordingly. I can drive a fork lift efficiently to move materials in and out of the warehouse. I assist in checking the condition of materials as they are unloaded from the delivery truck to ensure they are in the same condition as annotated on the documentation.
  • When receiving recoverable materials back from the mechanic, I ensure that the correct tag is on the recoverable material and that it annotates the correct NIIN, nomenclature, quantity, and condition of said material.

My duties were as follows:

  • I picked up and received Materials at the local SSA on post, where I then transferred them to my UIC before I took the materials on a pallet with a forklift and placed them on a trailer. I checked the parts in boxes to ensure the material and quantity was correct and matched the MRO and sometime repackaged the materials if that was required. I'v connected trailers to LMTV ( 5ton vehicle). I attached air hoses and break hoses to the trailers we picked up to collect materials, drop off recoverable materials while ensuring the correct paper work is attached, as well as disposed of hazard waste and batteries at the local recycling center.
  • I've issued materials to work orders using G-army and as well as created and closed the work orders. With the hazardous materials, which consisted of used oil, transmission fluid, and antifreeze, I included the correct paperwork and ensured each barrel was correctly labeled. I created 5988e's for my unit to conduct PMCS.
  • I also created dispatches for my unit when the operators needed vehicles to drive. I also managed all AOAP notifications for the vehicles, printed all the paperwork, labeled all the bottles, and shipped all the AOAP out. I helped with putting materials away after receiving them in our mat_sit. I am highly experienced with driving 5 ton vehicles along with possessing the proper license.
