  • Served as Interim Clinical Nurse Manager of Psychiatry 12/2024-08/2025
  • In my current role as a House Supervisor at BJH I organize staffing at each shift change, lead meetings to collaborate with each specialty throughout the hospital to facilitate communication, respond to urgent situations including medical emergencies and escalated patients/visitors, and addressing coworker questions/concerns.

  • In this role I work to fill the staffing needs of multiple hospital systems in the areas of medsurge, telemetry, and behavioral health.

Shift Director/House Manager

Mercy Hospital
03.2015 - 10.2022
  • I graduated from Maryville University with my BSN in December of 2018, I immediately began training for my new role at Mercy as a Float Pool nurse. Learning multiple specialties as a new graduate was a challenge, I have grown in my position and excelled in my new position. Having built trust and meaningful relationships throughout the hospital was key for my success, I have had a solid support system and knowledgeable mentors. My skills and experience currently include neurology, trauma, medical surgery, oncology, behavioral health, and orthopedics.

Assistant Store Manager

Walmart
01.2009 - 10.2015
  • As an ASM I managed the operations aspect of the organization which included our front registers, inventory, and profit/loss margins. Once I transitioned to the vision center I was responsible for patient vision screening/pre-testing, insurance authorization/ chargebacks, HIPPA retention, sales goals, scheduling, evaluations, asset protection, and patient satisfaction. While managing the vision center we maintained a 9.5-10 out of 10 on patient satisfaction ratings consistently, as well as having received positive reviews that are available to read on public forums. We developed a strong team at our office with a loyal patient base, I was happy in my position and only sought a new career to pursue my education and expand the experience that I have gained in this role to a broader level.

Department Manager

The Home Depot
05.2005 - 01.2009
  • My retail management career began with Home Depot. I was hired in 2004 as a sales floor associate, and was promoted within 3 months into a department manager role. I was responsible for scheduling, budgets, sales goals, attendance tracking, evaluations, asset protection, and customer satisfaction. I left Home Depot to expand my retail experience beyond home improvement, and was hired as an assistant store manager at the Kirkwood Wal-Mart.
