- Began at entry-level in the molding department and eventually became responsible for the fabrication of large steel castings for Caterpillar bulldozers as well as other heavy industrial pieces; General Electric locomotive engine frames, U.S. Army tank turret rings and many other military castings both Army and Navy, other heavy industrial equipment.
