Roger William Levan II

I started on as a carpenter, advancing quickly to crew leader, then to Manager of Operations and I now serve as Director of Operations.

• I oversee all New Construction projects and the following Departments

Maintenance, Housekeeping, Grounds, Auto Shop, Water treatment plant, Heavy Equipment & HVAC

• Leading the Youth Ministry
• Leading Mission trips
• Preaching, Teaching, Disciple Making

• Speaking at Associations and Churches to promote and gain more financial support for camp
• Creating & executing new events at camp (women's retreat, children's retreat etc)
• Overseeing CIT's, planning CIT training, selection of CIT's & providing daily classes during camp
• Implementing Safety/Enrollment Program for all volunteer workers (volunteer applications, references, background check, video training program with test & post camp evaluation forms)
• Implementing a safer more efficient check-out for the end of camp
• Program coordinator of Jr High & Junior 1 camp
• Planning entire camp program (teachers, volunteers, preacher, worship, lessons, crafts, games & activities)
• Training & Supervising all paid summer staff
• Creating staff work schedule and devotions
• General maintenance and upkeep of camp
• Coordinating volunteers and supplies for major remodeling projects (gym triple bunk beds, paint, carpet & hardwood under chapel etc)
• Creating or bring new 'fun' items to camp (60' super slide, gaga pit, archery & black light dodge ball)
• Filling in to cook meals for groups when needed

• Teaching the teen Sunday School class
• Serving as teen youth leader (later becoming the youth pastor) teaching Wednesday night classes, skits/dramas, planning events & trips
• Teaching children's church on Sunday mornings
• Growing the Disciple Now youth retreat from 30 youth to 200 youth, all by donations
• VBS director for 2 years, coordinating teachers, lessons and building props for stage

• After surrendering to the call to preach in 2010
• Became licensed by Yount Memorial General Baptist for 1 year and then being licensed by the Presbytery for 1 1/2 years
• I was ordained on April 14, 2013
• Preaching Youth Sunday services, Youth Rallies, Association services and filling in for churches without a pastor

• Bidding & scheduling of all jobs
• Hiring of employees
• Overseeing payroll, withholding taxes & workman's comp insurance
• Starting this company with 1 employee and growing it to over 20 employees

• General carpenter (1998)

• Superintendant of large scale jobs remodeling apartment complexes (2001)
