Paul "Wesley" Stubbs

• Started as home installation technician. Adopted job role as the company changed the method of deployment of the network for internet service from wireless radio frequency to fiber optic lines.
• Multiple duties including home internet fiber optic installation, aerial lineman, underground mainline deployment. Promoted to Department Lead.

• Remodeled newly acquired residential property bought by the farm. All phases of remodeling including plumbing, electrical, sheetrock installation, installed tile shower, all drain systems including underground drain system for outside down spouts. Also worked with hay production and cattle management. Project completed.

Operated heavy equipment for underground plumbing company. Operated bobcats, mini excavators, skid steers, bulldozers, and backhoes. Experience in water main installation, sewer installation, and residential plumbing, grading, and dirt work. The company also performed demolitions of residential homes for the cities of Quincy and Mt. Sterling, Illinois. Maintained a Class A CDL license and operated tandem dump trucks.

• Owned and operated a home remodel/home repair business. Small and large remodel projects including framing, sheetrock work, tile, paint, trim work, flooring and building decks. I also did contract work for the City of Plainville, constructing shelters and new dugouts for the baseball field.

Entry level position as general laborer. Quickly moved into machine operating position of directional boring machine 9x13. This machine does underground installtions of conduit lines for fiber connection lines installation. Operated mini excavators digging around buried cables and phone lines careful not to damage existing utilities. Moved into Leader of Fiber installation crew. Oversaw installation of fiberoptic cables into conduits qand inground vault locations. Hard working, dependable crew leader. Received raise after obtaining Class A CDL.

• Farm manager of black angus cattle farm and duck hunting preserve. Ran and maintained farm equipment and supervised employees. Land maintenance experience, cut, baled and sold 200 acres of alfalfa hay. Oversaw hunting operations of duck hunting preserve. Handled clients and lodge operations daily during the hunting season. Knowledge of agriculture practices and plant sciences.

• Ran a fully guided lodge with up to 20 clients at a time. Guided one on one with clients during hunting season. Ran and maintained John Deere tractors, 9460, 9410, loader tracker and other types of farming equipment. Understanding of agriculture practices and plant sciences.

• Certified installer training that traveled over 4 counties in company van performing new installatins and troubleshooting existing accounts. Proficient in electrical wiring, cable connections, telecom protocols, and internet schematics. Familiar with data entry and computer processing systems used to conduct daily reportson work orders for management. Lauded for excellent customer service skills handling service calls for new and existing accounts. Maintained a robust training program, responsible for training new technicians. Maintained a flawless inventory and record-keeping system that resulted in 100% accountability for all equipment.

• Conducted carpentry and all phases of construction-related work on new construction and remodeling projects. Duties included designing, framing, sheetock, tape and texture work, wood flooring installation, tile layer, painter, plumging, electrical, interior and exterior carpentry, roofing, siding and concrete work.

• Heavy machine and motor vehicle transport operator while enlisted in USMC. Conducted over 400 Ran security convoys as Lead high MNobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (Hmmwv) gunner which transported VIP's and needed supplies. Responsible for performing preventive and post operations maintenanceon vehicles used in combat support. While stationed in Japan in 2004, was instrumental in helping with with a large training area of Camp Fuji that supported search and rescue training consisting of land navigation and map reading over a 30 mile square radius. Promoted to the supervisory rank of sergeant before my honorable discharge.
