I manage daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the store, maintaining a clean, safe environment for customers and employees. I also drive a successful management team through proactive communication and positive feedback. I assist with hiring, training and mentoring new staff members. I create effective store schedules based on forecasted customer levels, individual employee knowledge, and service requirements. Conducted regular performance reviews for staff members, providing constructive feedback and opportunities for growth. Guest Service is my main priority while also building and maintaining a team that is self sufficient and guest focused. I make sure the business is providing the best customer service to our guests. Duties include opening and closing the store, maintaining training for team members, handling store orders, and working on the sales floor along side team members to fulfill orders and daily tasks. I also am in charge of inventory, setting par levels for in-stock items, and helping within other district stores to train their staff. Additionally, being a part of the Target management team, I handled cash transactions, licensed to run heavy equipment such as power lifts and compactors, partnered with other managers to help with store pricing signage and merchandise placement. I run weekly metric reports, create and publish schedules for my team, give team recognition, and organize volunteer events for staff to help give back to the community.
