  • Represents the ECM ministry and its mission of “chaplaincy providing support, hope, and healing for children in the juvenile justice system” by being an advocate for youth in crisis and directing the chaplaincy resources to meet the needs of the children.
  • Assumes primary leadership for fundraising activities in the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri community (the ministry’s core financial base) and in the broader philanthropic community where new resources are needed.
  • Develops resources sufficient to ensure the financial health of the organization.
  • Oversees and implements appropriate resources to ensure that the operations are consistent with board policies and procedures.
  • Meets regularly with the Diocesan Bishop, ECM Board chair and committees to ensure optimal flow of information and effectiveness of governance and operations.
