• Leading and directing the 4N CVICU team consisting of 75 FTE's, 2 ICU Tech's and 5 nursing externs. Interim Leader 4S MICU/BMT for three months during leadership changes.
• Ensuring the safety and highest-standard of critical patient care for 20 beds.
• Audits/Line management, skin/wounds, provider/nurse rounding, blood/urine culture training and education, restraints, blood administration, ICU charting compliance.

• Educating/assisting staff on proper performance of critical care skills, invasive monitoring and devices.
• Author and creator of the CRRT initiation/management in the O.R. program. Utilized by all four ICU's as a standardized process.
• Coordination and submission of budget request to CNO and CFO for Thermodilution equipment. Author and creator of nursing training/education for Thermodilution, during the transition from Swan-Ganz catheters to PA catheters. Assisted CTS service in creation of orderset.

Permanent Weekend Charge Nurse- 4N CVICU/Transplant Surgery

• 20 bed-Level I CVICU/Transplant ICU
• Patient care includes: Post-op CABG, Impella's, IABP, Valve Repairs, TEVAR, Aortic-Dissection Repairs, Femoral/popliteal bypass, EKOS endovascular system , Invasive monitoring SWAN Ganz’s catheters, A-lines, CVP monitoring, CO/CI/SVO2 monitoring, ICP monitoring, transvenous/epicardial/transcutaneous pacing, Liver, Kidney and Pancreas Transplants, HIPEC patients, varying Trauma/Neuro patients, ECMO patients including V-V ECMO, V-A ECMO, combination support systems, COVID ARDS patients, paralyzed and proning, NxStage CRRT dialysis management, mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP's.
