  • Started as an Assistant Manager and promoted to General Manager 7 months later.
  • The year before I took over as general manager the store finished 300 out of 700 restaurants. My first year as General Manager we were able to finish 46th in the company.
  • Oversaw all aspects of the restaurant including staffing, guest satisfaction, sales and profits.
  • As a test restaurant, we instituted numerous company roll-outs of new menu items. We also tested and influenced delivery though 3rd party partners, increasing our average weekly take out sales by over $2000.
  • Hired, developed and retained a highly effective staff with turnover around 70% which was under our region average by over 20%.
  • We are a new manager training store for the company. I have trained over 15 new managers for the company.
  • My restaurant averaged between $3.2 and $3.5 million annually in sales.
  • Supervised 3 managers and over 65 employees yearly.
  • I won the people developer of the year award in 2021.

  • Started as an Assistant Manager and promoted to Managing Partner approximately 6 months later.
  • Up in sales 11 out of 12 years. The only year we were not was the year a Texas Roadhouse opened less than a mile from us.
  • Oversaw all aspects of the restaurant including staffing, guest satisfaction, sales and profits.
  • Instituted numerous company roll-outs of new menu items, new on-line ordering system, computerized seating system and a computerized system for the kitchen that sent each item ordered to the appropriate station at the appropriate time to allow food to be cooked when needed to keep food hot and speed up ticket times.
  • Developed and nurtured an extremely loyal and competent staff by being hands on when needed, fair, down to earth and taking a genuine interest in each of their lives
  • Was a manager training store for the company. Trained over 20 new managers for our region.
  • Was one of the main Longhorn restaurants out of over 500 to test new menu items, as well as, new initiatives before they were rolled out company wide.

  • I am currently a Director of Operations at Red Lobster. I oversee 8 locations in 3 states. I took on this challenge in June of 2023.
  • General Manager for Red Lobster for 5 years, before promoting to Director of Operations.
  • Managing Partner for Longhorn Steakhouse in Kansas City for over 12 years.
  • General Manager of the Cracker Barrel in Liberty, MO for over 5 years
  • General Manager for Pizza Hut for more than 8 years.
  • At each of these restaurants I managed and developed 3-4 managers at a time. One of the things I am most proud of is the managers that I have helped mentor and they have gone on to be general managers in their own restaurants. In these restaurants, I have managers up to 65 employees at a time, several of which were promoted to management.
  • As general manager/managing partner, I would oversee all day to day operations. I ensured guest satisfaction and loyalty. I monitored staffing, training, food, service, ordering and receiving, and profits.
  • Average sales at each restaurant was $3-4 million dollars.
