- Responsible for the integration of all modernization activities within US Army Forces Command to include the fielding of new equipment and the execution of new equipment training.

- Managed organizational change across US Army Forces Command to include unit activations, inactivations, and conversion to new unit designs.

- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining force caps on US forces in Afghanistan

- Planned the rotational flow of units and equipment in and out of Afghanistan on behalf of the commander of US Forces

- Managed the process for commanders to request additional equipment to meet mission requirements (operational need statements)
