Retail pharmacist duties in addition to compounding duties for a non-sterile pharmacy.

Duties include retail pharmacist workflow in addition to finding formulas, entering formulas on computer RX software, entering pricing, speaking with physicians and veterinarians about compounded prescriptions, speaking, working with medicine shoppe to make sure non-sterile compounding state and federal requirements are met, maintaining laboratory organization and cleanliness, ordering of bulk compounding supplies.

Worked 29 hours weekly as part time pharmacist on the Computer Rx platform. Became well versed in weight loss medications and their manufacturer coupon cards including Mounjaro, Wegovy, and Ozempic. Worked closely with drug reps and clinicians on brand name medications including but not limited to Xhance, Xyosted, Mounjaro, Gemtesa, and Adzenys and their copay cards. Worked closely with the compounding technician and visited prescribers to educate them about compounding options.

Floated between Florissant, Grand, and Euclid locations as a Staff Pharmacist. Job duties remain similar between other retail pharmacy positions.

Staff pharmacist duties for telehealth fulfillment center include but are not limited to: Data entry of prescriptions, verification of entered prescriptions, verifying all refill prescriptions (matching in Keycentrix and PIMS databases), pharmacist second verification (before medications are packed and shipped), packing, shipping, sealing, tracking patient medication packages in STAMPS database.

I was the main pharmacist for the Depression / Anxiety follow-up calls to patients working closely with NP's and MD's to manage therapies with SSRI, SNRI,TCA therapies with or without hydroxyzine.

Managerial duties were similar to that of the Pharmacy Manager position with Shop N Save. Schnucks bought Shop N Save in October 2018, so my duties were transferred upon that date.

Make sure all DEA licenses, Pharmacy licenses, Pharmacist licenses, and tech licenses are up to date and on display. Make sure invoice filing is appropriate, controlled substance invoices are filed appropriately, all internal compliance standards are met, vaccination protocols are met and sent daily, pharmacy goals are met daily and yearly. Participate in inventory twice yearly and C2 inventory once a month. Input data from invoices on sales tracker and monitor weekly earnings of the pharmacy as well as prescriptions filled. Oversee daily workings of the pharmacy. Create employee scheduling. Make sure all employees have learning carts and CE entered on time. Enter new patient profiles, insurance information, and prescriptions into PDX/EPS software system. Communicated directly with doctors' offices via telephone, fax and email. Provided critical information and advice to customers regarding possible drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage. Verified accuracy and completeness of information on prescription and refill requests. Collaborated closely with healthcare professionals to monitor and assess the quality and effectiveness of drugs or drug regimens. Accepted and created orders through our warehouse and outside wholesale ordering venues; including filling out DEA ordering forms for CII substances, conducted monthly Controlled Substance inventory, administered vaccinations including but not limited to flu, prevnar13, pneumovax, shingles, meningitis, and HepB. In charge of submitting all data from compliance audits. Update Medicare Part B forms for patients using Part B for prescription use to match standards of compliance. Collaborate with store director to meet pharmacy needs. Utilize EQUIPP MTM services and maintain positive scores.

Organized weekly luncheons with physicians and provided education in various compounded patient therapies. Creator of the Compounding Standard Operating Procedures binder required by IL law. Interpreted ZRT saliva and blood spot testing and provided clinical treatment options for MD’s and their patients. Oversaw the pharmacy technicians’ drug preparation and distribution activities to provide safe, efficient care for patients.
