I would also like to add that i ring humor and happiness to the workplace, but can also be deliberate, serious, and straight forward when that type of atmosphere is needed.
As a QC tech for Tyson foods i was tasked with a multitude of various job responsibilities such as, data entry, collecting and testing samples, monitoring GMP's, as well as, floor walks multiple times a day to ensure correct processes were being followed. preforming AQL's which are critical to ensuring the correct process is being followed.
Other duties include real time communication with supervisors including mine and other departments supervisors to inform them of any safety or quality issues, or just an overview on how things or going from a quality and safety standpoint. If there are quality issues such as FM or situations relating to that, I would come together with that departments supervisor and my own to come up with a comprehensive plan of action to make sure all situations are being handled in a safe quality manner.
As a wizard knife operator at Triumph Foods I helped with trimming the hams to a specified spec to ensure the order places is the order received.
I was a proud member of the safety committee at Tyson. I was also a proud member of the foreign material task force. With my experience I was also asked to help with the training of new hires of the QA department, which i was proud to help do.
I was awarded the employee of the month for helping the QA department cover shifts during a shortage in the month of June 2024.
