Prior to receiving my welding certification and after high school, I enlisted myself into the Army where I was a tanker for 3-years and then infantry for another 2 years. I am highly disciplined and trained to handle high pressure situations with tact, and it has given me the experience to transform a negative situation into a positive. It taught me how to lead and care for others around me with a team mindset.
I received my class A welder license, successfully learned how to TIG weld and aluminum weld, in which I was able to set the production record for most efficient tanks welded in a full shift with little to no leaks.
I also learned to work the brake press and the stud line. I have made it a personal goal to learn every position on the cooper line as well as other positions in other departments.
I oversaw welding operations to ensure we met quality standards and managed the team of welders to provide technical guidance and enforce safety protocols in order to produce efficiently and effectively.
Before accepting the job at American Products, I passed all my structural pipe certifications and structural uphill welding certifications for the MIG process.
I oversaw housing, recruiting & training sales reps, and became expert in sales. I had many accomplishments with this company, including bonuses, awards for rookie sales rep of the year.
Completed 75 AWS (American Welding Society) stamped certifications.
