I graduated a Program call "Road To Ownership" provided by Amazon Logistics. I got nominated by my Current DSP, Daval Express. In this program, Amazon is searching for candidates that have what it takes to run their own DSP in partnership with Amazon. If a candidate passes and graduates, they get an investment from Amazon to start their own DSP. In this program, I worked with 30 other candidates, James the Instructor, countless speakers for separate topics, and held separate individual meetings with James to further my understanding on certain topics. In this class, an example of some skills that I displayed and improved are: Financial Management, Fleet Management, Hiring Management, and Team Management. I am currently on the bench waiting to launch.

-Assigned responsibilities to managers and assistant managers daily.

-Analyzed call ins, and swapping routes in the morning to place team members in areas they are successful in.

-Monitored quality/safety in real time to ensure we are hitting max performance on weekly scorecards, which we have for 54 weeks from December 2024-January 2025.

-Meetings: I host the daily standup meetings for topics that need discussed to the employees. I start with the main focus for the day, then end with a success story from one of our teammates.

-Corrective Action Plans/Performance Plans: Monitored employee actions to identify those who breached safety, quality, attendance, or policy standards. Also created the plans/deadlines to improve by.

-Hiring: Sourced candidates on Indeed to maintain a full schedule of interviews/analyzing candidates. Would make hiring plans up to 12 weeks out to maintain route commitments within our contract.

-Fleet Management: Created and monitored orders to maintain a safe and compliant fleet within Amazon and US guidelines. If it's within my knowledge I complete repairs myself, such as lights and panels. I manage up to 31 vans from Rivian to Dodge Promaster.

-Monthly Planning: I oversee the number of routes we have, to ensure we have vans, people, phones, dollies, and other miscellaneous equipment to ensure we are staying compliant with our contract.

-Payroll: I assist with the setting up of Paycom accounts for all of our employees. I do everything except process payroll.

-Scheduling: I create all employee schedules to meet company requirements. I also handle all PTO, VET, and VTO requests.

-Dispatching: I dispatch for the drivers after loading up in the morning until 5pm. I help troubleshoot all problems that drivers may call with. I am the main problem solver to ensuring each package gets delivered for the day and all employees get home in the same shape they clocked in!

Problem Solving: For reoccurring problems, I create new processes/procedures to train employees on to eliminate reoccurring issues.

-On a daily basis, I oversee 20-25 routes/employees/vans a day. On a larger spectrum, I am managing 60+ employees, 31 vans, performance, and hiring throughout the week.

-Van Assignments: Kept employees in the same 1-2 vans to help keep track of damages and giving employees familiarity.

-Morning Preparations: Prepared asset bags for vans, also created documents for drivers to see their vans, routes, and locations for the day.

-On Road Monitoring: Ensured employees were following safety and quality standards, inspecting each route individually to ensure each stop is done correctly.

-Coaching: Anytime an employee falls behind in any category I provide insight on what the problem is, and the best work practices to fix.

-Reporting: I report any and all issues in documents at the end of the night. From van issues, employee issues, route issues, or comments and concerns.

-Inspected my van before routes.

-Participated in daily morning meetings.

-Loaded my own routes, planned order I would do the route before departing.

-Ensured timely deliveries for customer satisfaction and company results.

-Maintained "Fantastic" rating as a driver, achieving max results for photos, customer feedback, delivery completion rate, and safety.

-Performed rescues on employees that ran into problems and fell behind on their individual routes.

-Delivered 180 stops with an average of 320 packages.

-Inspected my van before routes.

-Participated in daily morning meetings.

-Loaded my own routes, planned order I would do the route before departing.

-Assisted in some Dispatch duties on an as-needed-basis for the company when other employees couldn't make it.

-Inspected my van before routes.

-Would help with closing activities once I completed my route. I would inspect vans making sure they meet Amazon and US guidelines. I would also debrief drivers about how their route went, problems they may have had, and when they're expected back next.

-Checked orders and job sites listed for the day

-Gathered all materials and tools needed before heading on the road for the day.

-Communicate with customers on arrival time and completion time.

-Ensure workspace is tidy and safe in the job site.

-Measured doors to ensure the new ones are the same size as the previous.

-Frequently built new H frames to ensure the door can operate and close as it should.

-Trained new hires on how to install doors.

-Practiced customer satisfaction as I would be the one closing out tickets after the job is completed.

-Made fast deliveries to customers within a 10 mile radius using my personal car.

-Assisted kitchen with making pizzas in between deliveries.

-Assisted managers with cutting pizza, prepping wings, and bagging for deliveries/carry out customers.

-Assisted dish washers with dishes in between deliveries.

-Was in charge of a money bank that I used to cash out customers on the road.

-Swept, cleaned, and mopped the store during closing time to prep the opening shift the next day.

-I was responsible for making sure my delivery has all of its belongings.

-Organized all materials to be need for customers. This included wood, rebar, concrete bags, fence posts, sand, trims, and metals.

-Took orders from customers, also loaded their trucks with said orders.

-Would frequently prep orders for deliveries, and make the deliveries myself.

-Would cut wood with a table saw in some events when customers need smaller pieces.

-In charge of opening/closing shop each day.

-I was the only stocker that handled all of the materials on the floor.
