I am currently the dry end tech, some of my job duties are to program the cut sheets to make the desired number of cuts as well as the correct measurements. To insure that good quality sheets are being produced, there are some quality tests that I perform such as soak tests, board caliber tests, and board moisture tests. I perform different machine adjustments such as machine temperatures, warp adjustments, machine speeds, glue gap adjustments, singlefacer roll pressures and roll stand tensions.

• Took machines apart to clear jams and replace broken components.
• Ensured that all safety procedures were followed when operating the corrugator machine.
• Maintained cleanliness of work area by removing scrap paper from machines.
• Operated corrugator machine to produce cardboard boxes of various sizes and shapes.
• Monitored and observed production line to watch for pile-ups and jams.
• Inspected finished products for conformance to quality standards.

• Inspected finished items to check for defects.
• Installed attachments to machines in order to complete special operations and projects.
• Adjust machine settings according to job specifications.
• Identify defective items produced by the machine and separate them from good ones.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed while operating equipment.
• Verify dimensions of finished products using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and rulers.
• Removed and stacked completed items in preparation for shipment.
• Inspect product for quality assurance.
• Collaborated with team members to finish runs on tight deadlines.
• Cut products to specific measures, carefully using cutting tools.
• Maintain accurate records of production output and downtime.

• Assist in training new operators on the proper use of machinery.

• Document daily activities in logbooks or computer systems as required.
