Currently enrolled in the horticulture program at STLCC, I am seeking extracurricular programs, particularly related to native ecology and restoration, to further enrich my understanding of the natural world.

  • Build and maintain native gardens. This includes grading site for proper water movement, planting and continued maintenance such as weeding, pruning and clearing yearly biomass. Emphasis on stormwater management and establishing biodiverse plant populations.
  • Assist in managing St. Clair County Greenspace in Belleville, Illinois. This includes managing trails by clearing debris, identifying and removing invasive species and reintroducing native species to previously hostile sites.
