Mercy Service award winner 2014, 2024

Won the Mercy Service award in 2014- as I served as a full time PT - who was recognized/mentioned most by patients and their families; took on a leadership role on the weekends- often working extra hours so both the patients could be seen and nothing administrative fell through the cracks as well.  At the time I did many home evals; and learned so much about implementing home environment into my daily treatments

In 2024 I won that award a second time (first ever feat at Mercy Rehab!) - for taking more of a leadership position as a staff PT with the most experience.  I often serve as a reference person and am consulted if a newer PT becomes stumped with how to progress a pt; strange stair situation; ect.  I also seek to serve my patients in any way that I can as I keep a clothing stash for those who don't have any; and have a surplus of DME that I issue my patients when they can't afford their own.  I also try to give my patients all the time and attention I have; and seek to give good quality treatments that are relevant to the patient
