  • As a Retail Sales Associate at Best Buy, I work with customers to meet their electronic needs and wants for both home and business. That includes anything from computing, cellular, home theater and appliance needs. It also includes things, such as networking and other items. I work with customers to meet their appliance needs, making sure they can access all the products they need to fit their home.
  • Along with meeting electronics needs I also work with customers to apply for credit cards to increase their buying power and discuss membership options that can provide them with protection and support for their devices.

  • In my position, as the Service Coordinator at the Cosmopolitan International Diabetes & Endocrinology Center, I was part of the leadership team and directly supervised three employees. My primary duty was to ensure the flow of patients through the clinic is smooth and efficient. This included working with nursing staff and clinic providers to optimize care for clinic patients, but I had a numerous array of tasks that I performed for the clinic. These tasks included:
  • Coordinate and manage 15+ schedules that include and or not limited to patients, attendings, fellows, and nurses

  • In this position I worked in the School of Medicine with two different divisions. This allowed me the opportunity to perform a wide variety of tasks in support of both divisions, along with the faculty and fellows in each. These tasks included:

  • I worked with a set advertising panel, as well as new customers, to meet various advertising needs. These needs ranged from recruitment, event promotion, tourism, legal notices, and numerous others. I was required to manage existing customers while also prospecting for new business. This entailed great time management to make sure that ads were set for the daily run in the paper, while also working on a revolving group of special projects.
  • Additionally, I performed many quality control duties to ensure accuracy of ads, legal notices, obituaries and more in the daily publication and special sections. I also assisted in department management of personnel and daily operations of production for several years.
  • As of September 2018, I became the senior member of my department. At that time, I became the lead person coordinating between my department, our Newsroom, Graphic Design Team, Business Department and Publisher on everything from the daily placement of all types of ads and obituaries, as well as managing special sections, ensuring payments were applied and more.
  • Schedule and design ads for daily publication and numerous special sections throughout the year
  • Develop campaign ideas and strategies to achieve overall advertising goals
