Working at the Sate Hospital has taught me many things including giving showers, tracking I&O, vitals, bed baths, deescalating patients, and advocating for my patients.

Within six months of employment, I advanced from waitress to shift lead based on my skills. to jump in and never be afraid to help. In turn it helped me to gain the respect of my peers as well as my fairness as a shift lead.
