Main responsibility is to oversee and maintain fleet of equipment that equates to over tens of millions of dollars. With that comes ensuring that all equipment is in safe and working condition and meets all compliance standards for the company, MSHA and OSHA. Work daily to maintain a detailed log of equipment including serial numbers, maintenance dates and current status of all equipment and to schedule and coordinate regular maintenance inspections and to identify faulty equipment and coordinate repairs and to troubleshoot all equipment issues both in house and through 3rd party vendors. Keep digital and or physical statuses of records of equipment status issues repairs and inspections and schedule and coordinate regular maintenance inspections. In constant communication with leadership and operations team as well as preparing regular reports including equipment related expenses to ensure they are under budget and to recommend any cost effective purchasing options. Work daily with project managers and technicians to foresee equipment need and to order new tools and equipment as needed. Person in charge and responsible of coordinating delivery and retrieval of equipment per job. With new members, person in charge of training personnel on proper use and care of all equipment.
