When I opened Jake's Loch Loma Lounge in 2022, I knew that we had to have the best Reuben sandwich possible on the menu. With all ingredients purchased from Performance Food Group, I knew we had a great sandwich. When the Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce held the Reuben Rumble in July 2024, I felt we had an outstanding chance to win. The mix of fantastic ingredients and proper training of my kitchen staff led to our Reuben winning the People's Choice Award with over 33% more votes than the runner up - roughly 200 votes to 145.
