• Provide high quality care to dogs and cats in a boarding environment away from their homes.
• Follow owner instructions to properly feed their pets as desired.

• Supervise dogs in open play in groups of 2 to 14 at a time.

• Clean facility at closing time by vacuuming and mopping daycare and boarding floors/hallways, as well as disinfecting any used daycare kennels.
• Maintain online records of the individual animals' feeding/potty/walks to keep track of their wellbeing throughout the stay, and notice any changes or concerns of note.
• Routinely use dishwasher and laundry machines throughout the shift to keep up on dirty dishes and laundry.

• Maintained cleanliness of pets' housing area every morning, mopping their floor as well as providing fresh food and water.
• Provided outdoor exercise in a securely fenced area at least 4 times daily.
• Prepped animal meals for the next shift daily, following owner provided instructions and finding the corresponding food bin assigned to a specific animal.
• Supervised play groups of less than 10 dogs in size, for three 20 minute play sessions.
• Check in or check out any boarding animals, going over consent form and details of what is expected throughout their stay. Necessary to navigate an IPad efficiently for this process, as well as Cornerstone software on computer.
• Process payment via card to receive boarding deposit and check out any departing animals.
• Answer phone calls to book boarding reservations and answer any relevant questions from inquiring pet owners.
• Maintained facility by sweeping, and mopping hallways after each walk.
• Maintain outdoor yards by disposing of any animal waste, as well as disinfecting the turf yards.
• Communicated any new health concerns with veterinary staff.

• Increased customer satisfaction through timely communication about their pets'' status and activities when called to provide an update.
• Provided image/video of pet upon owner's request.

• Supervised playgroups of dogs, typically ranging in size from 10-50 dogs. This was almost always performed with at least one other individual working.
• Utilize understanding of dog body language and social cues to recognize situations needing intervention or redirection in dog play.
• Timely removal of any animal waste using poop scoop.
• Communicate with front of house staff utilizing walkie talkies for any dog daycare arrivals or departures.
• Perform examination of boarding dogs multiple times throughout the day to notice any lumps, bumps, scratches, broken nails, etc.
• Feed animals their meals at breakfast/lunch/dinner times.
• Put dogs in their crates or kennels at break time.
• Clean turf yard at night with disinfectant sprayer on hose.

• Practice creating space at the daycare gate (any time someone entered or left the yard) using a longboard with dogs to avoid any incidents or escapes.

• I supervised the daycare group for the week, M-F.
• Responsibilities included:

- cleaning kennels

- mopping floors

-spraying down the turf yards (using Wyshiwash)

-giving dogs individual water breaks

-managing groups for social play (> 40 dogs between two yards)

-perform interactive play using toys (tennis balls, bubble sprayer)

-removal of any dog waste and replace full trash bags at end of shift

-providing pictures for social media

-help bring dogs to their owner in the lobby when leaving daycare

• As a canine coach I have operated as the pack leader for a group of dogs (30-60 dogs at a time) in an open play environment. Whether it be big, small, high energy, or all of the above. Problem solving is needed with dogs and their undesirable behaviors in open play. I have experience with lead walking, redirecting, and breaking up play when needed by watching canine body language. Communicate openly with team management about issues that arise, and give ideas for the betterment of the daily operations.
• Received assignment at start of shift for which of the 3 playrooms I would be managing. Go over any relevant notes that were left from the previous shift.
• Gained experience managing daycare dogs that were aggressive towards other dogs in certain situations, such as dogs entering or leaving the daycare room.
• Crate all dogs in a wire crate during naptime (12:00pm-2:00pm).
• Cleaned crate trays that were used for boarding crates or used at lunch break, as well as any crates that were urinated on.
• I gained experience with spa tasks, such as bathing, brush outs, and nail grinding.
• Collect animal waste using poo bags. At end of night, use backpack vacuum to collect any loose animal hair. Mop daycare floors, disinfect wall paneling and play equipment. Prepare room for the following morning shift (fresh mop buckets, supplies stocked, trash bags replaced).
• I was also tasked with the responsibility of working with trainees throughout their training period, teaching them the guidelines to follow, and helping develop them into successful canine coaches themselves.
