Dynamic music professional with extensive experience at Lindenwood University, excelling in public service and music theory. Proven ability to enhance accessibility of music collections and develop engaging instructional materials. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to fostering collaborative learning environments, ensuring student success and satisfaction.
In addition to the experiences listed on my résumé, I currently serve as the Drum Major at Lindenwood University, where I lead rehearsals, support ensemble coordination, and help maintain musical and logistical organization for the marching band. This role has strengthened my conducting, leadership, and real-time problem-solving skills.
I also had the opportunity to teach a jazz history masterclass at the Taiwan University of the Arts, working with college musicians on the stylistic, cultural, and historical foundations of the genre. This experience broadened my teaching perspective and developed my ability to communicate musical concepts across cultures and learning backgrounds.
Beyond that, I am active in university ensembles—including wind ensemble, jazz ensembles, and small combos—and I frequently assist peers with musicianship, score study, and preparation outside of rehearsals. I also spend significant time developing my conducting, arranging, and engraving skills, and I am experienced with notation software, rehearsal planning, and collaborative musical leadership.
These additional activities continue to shape my musicianship, teaching approach, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
