  • Denise Cross, the President & CEO of Cornerstones of Care, presented Elijah with the Spirit Award (2018) in recognition of his commitment as a student basketball manager and later as the student assistant coach while attending high school and college and working to achieve his own goals. Elijah served 10 years with Head Coach Willie Hudson from 2012-2022 in both capacities after heart surgery ended his basketball ambitions as a middle school student in 2012.
