Over the Last 15 Years my experience has been hands on Technically. From being deeply involved Servicing CT (Computed Tomography) CTX 9000 CTX 5500 EDS (Explosion Detection Systems) for TSA and Homeland Security, to now working for Honeywell FM&T (National Nuclear Security Administration for the DOE. Racking up, building and fabricating Testers, VPC ITA Chassis', Cable builds and performing Tester Calibrations.

Position Scope of Responsibilities

· Lay out, fabricates, modifies, assembles and proves-in electronic, electromechanical, computerized, environmental, and scientific test equipment and systems

· Perform Tester Calibration, Repeatability and Prove-In

· Installs, maintains, inspects for conformance to specifications standards, services, troubleshoots with Engineer, electromechanical, environmental, computerized and scientific test equipment and systems, including electrical service boxes (inside test equipment), laboratory instruments, meters, lasers, computers and data acquisition systems

· Test equipment is defined as equipment or gaging which electrically or electromechanically accepts the product or is used in the manufacture of the product

· May perform related tasks as necessary in the completion of the primary work assignment in the Electronic Equipment Technician classification

· Performs complete rack up of testers by following prints assigned by Engineers

· Performs complete evaluation of new or modified equipment and determines its acceptability, prove-in.

· Performs rework and replacement of components when required

· Assist in writing Calibration Procedures and use of programs to assist in the prove-in, evaluation, calibration, maintenance and repair of test equipment

· Assist in troubleshooting any Calibration Test / Repeatability issues with Engineers

· May perform in-process inspection

· Follow Fabrication Standards performing builds of Testers, chassis’, fixtures, cables etc..

· Perform Surface Mounted Mods and or Through Hole mods Per IPC610

· Responsible for all drawings and prints as a part of the print package.

· Responsible for Red Lines to be submitted for future print changes and or mods
