Dan Chanowski

A Church Relations Ministry Strategist for Operation Christmas Child (OCC), focuses on building and maintaining relationships with churches to facilitate their participation in the shoebox gift ministry. This role involves promoting OCC, developing promotional initiatives, and acting as a liaison between Samaritan's Purse and local churches. The strategist also helps churches understand how to get involved and ensures they have the resources they need

• Responsible for launching new locations throughout East Texas
• Responsible for the oversight of existing locations
• Management and Development of Campus Pastors for each Timber Creek location
• Ensuring that Timber Creek culture is consistent across all campuses
• Creating and implementing a plan for local outreach for each campus in their respective communities
• Planning and leading multiple missions trips; foreign and domestic

• Launched Journey Church, a church plant through the Church Multiplication Network. We worked closely with the Assemblies of God Kansas Network.
• Carried weekly preaching/teaching responsibilities
• Built pastoral leadership team
• Created and participated in community engagement activities and events
• Authored church policies and procedures, and bylaws
• Provided coaching and mentoring for team
• Guided and supported church mission/vision/culture through strategic planning and vision development.
• Prepared individuals for leadership roles within the church by offering ongoing training opportunities focused on spiritual development and practical skills.
• Oversaw all aspects of church administration including budgeting, event planning, facility management, and communication strategies.
• Partnered with local schools and nonprofit organizations in the community
