- As a Foreman at Trustar I've had several responsibilities as its a small company doing a variety of different Jobs.
- Trustar is involved with local commerical new builds and remodels in the local area of springfield and also industrial military fuel service.
- For the majority of my work at Trustar, I was the main service technician for the military fuel systems diagnosing.
- Most military fuel systems are different ages and have different engineers. Several have PLC systems which monitor safety such as estops, flow switches, proved grounding and other protocol safety systems. Therefore engage motor starter contacts and relays for motor, pumps, valves to allow fuel flow. The PLC system also monitors fuel pressure and levels to shut down motors, valves and pumps.
- There are older modeled relay cabinets that have the same job as a PLC system but have relays to prove safety, throughout contactor circuits in line with safeties. Such as floats, flow switches, estops and ground proving systems to engage the motor starter in the MCC panel.
- I read existing electrical systematics and listened to complaints of personal to figure out what the probable cause of what the system failure was whether it was a safety, motor, pump or relay issue and sometimes redesigned systems for optimal functions for the personal and equipment.
- As the foreman my responibilties changed from technician to leading apprentices on the value of safety, quality, blue prints and rules of the NEC. As foreman I have lead several new builds and remodels on commercial buildings.

- I started out as a third year apprentice and learned how commerical building systems worked and how electrical has to coincide with all trades from HVAC, Plumbing Carpenters, Data, Security and controls and how to coordinate with other trades to get the job done in a correct and timely manner.
