During this assignment I was asked to create an orientation manual and assist with transitioning the hospital to Epic. I was asked to stay on permanently but declined as the goal was to return to St. Louis.

  • Role included Capital and Operating budget responsibilities for a high volume cardiac catheterization laboratory, Electrophysiology laboratory, Interventional Radiology, Echo Lab, Cardiac Step-down, Cardiac Rehab, Short stay cardiology division, Inpatient Telemetry, Central Central Monitor Station and others.
  • Budget responsibility for 180 FTE's and one third of the hospitals revenue.
  • My divisions were the first to transition to all permanent FTE's filled while eliminating all contract staff.
  • Setting strategic plan for 5 and 10 year growth.
  • Led building project from 2005-2010 to expand the campus with new building addition that included the operating room, cardiac catheterization laboratory and interventional radiology.
  • Led the hospital's Certificate Of Need submission to the state of Missouri for new/additional image acquisition devices for the new interventional platform with unanimous approval from the Certificate of Need Board, a first in their more than 30 year history.
