I have had the pleasure of shadowing some great dentists since I started at Mizzou. I have shadowed one general dentist, three maxillofacial surgeons, and one oral surgeon. From these job shadowing experiences, I got to observe how they interacted with patients along with observing patient cases. I got to see several cases ranging from basic check-ups on patients to surgical cases requiring implants. Additionally, I got insight into how they run their practices effectively.
