Current position is fault chaser. I am crossed trained in several other areas: single case selector for 1F, single item selector for the freezer, cooler, produce, scs, and trained to separate batch orders for 1F.
Unload raw goods from trailers, receive into inventory, make sure shipping orders were correct and accurate, and put into correct racking in the warehouse. When needed take raw goods to the designated area to be used for the final product. When the finished goods are palletized and shrink wrapped, scan the printed label and take to the designated area in the warehouse.
Overnight instock associate for frozen/ dairy. The main emphasis was to rotate and stock product from the daily frozen/ dairy truck. Overstock was labeled and slotted in bins in the cooler or freezer as needed. When needed we would unload and separate the pallets of product before stocking to the salesfloor. In the morning we would zone the area to make it easier for customers to shop.
Unload finished goods from the Kraft plant in Springfield, scan the label, make sure the item description is correct and put in designated location. When assigned to an outbound order, receive loading orders, go to location and scan correct product, drive to dock door assigned and then load pallets on to trailer following load plan assigned. I was trained to call drivers to correct dock doors, assign load plans so trucks were under legal weight limits for the continuous 48 states, and assign out going orders to individual fork lift drivers.
Started as an overnight instock associate. After 1 year I was promoted to an overnight support manager. My job was to help oversee the nightly process of making sure all trucks were unloaded, freight was sent to the floor and worked. Overstock was then taken to the back of the store where it was labeled and put in the correct bins for use when needed. We would then zone the store so it looked presentable to shoppers by the beginning of the business day. I was trained to be the manager on duty and run the store when the overnight assistant manager was on vacation or a leave of absence.
