Completed second four-week foodservice management rotation at Western Missouri Medical Center with my preceptor, Richelle Mills, Director of Nutritional Services. Assisted staff in managing patient meal orders for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Supported food delivery and production processes while participating in, and leading, team-building activities. Contributed to quarterly operations excellence review and facilitated a mock inspection and disaster plan development.
Achieved successful completion of four-week foodservice management rotation at Lee's Summit School District, collaborating with preceptor Lori Danella, Director of Nutrition Services. Analyzed kitchen operations across the district to identify best practices. Developed and executed a themed meal for elementary students, overseeing food production, service, and collection of student feedback through surveys. Engaged with Nutrition Council to enhance student nutrition and participation initiatives.
Led initiatives to enhance nutrition education for student athletes within UCM's athletic department.
