I began working for Saint Luke's Health System in May 2023 as a Medical Office Specialist in an outpatient clinic. In August 2024 I became a nursing assistant at Saint Luke's East hospital. As a nursing assistant I'm expected to:

• Obtain patient vitals such as temperature, blood pressure, and blood sugar.
• Provide high-quality personal care services such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
• Assist patients with daily living activities for enhanced comfort and wellbeing.
• Assist nurses, physical therapists, and other nursing assistants.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by sanitizing surfaces, changing linens, and disposing of waste properly.

I've worked for Saint Luke's Health System for nearly two years. I started as a Medical Office Specialist, working with ten urologists at Advanced Urologic Associates. While working in the outpatient facility my job consisted of:

• Scheduling/rescheduling and confirming office visits.
• Obtaining insurance information and authorization.
• Facilitate effective communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies for optimal care coordination.
• Established strong rapport with patients through thoughtful listening skills, empathetic communication, and professional demeanor.
• Processed payments from patients promptly and accurately.
• Answered telephone calls to offer office information, answer questions, and direct calls to staff.

I worked as an Insurance Risk Interviewer at Quest Diagnostics. I was required to complete inbound and outbound calls for different insurance agencies, review individuals overall health, and obtain financial, occupational and avocation information. While there I and four other colleagues successfully assisted with the redevelopment of our work system website to increase productivity. This remodel helped our team respond to the needs and requests of our clients in a more expedient manner.
