A group of students including myself made an effort to support our local ecosystems. We made wooden houses for bats and artificial bee hives then hung them in local parks to increase the amount of pollinators in the area. The Environmental Protection Agency recognized us for our efforts and flew us out to Washington DC to present the awards to us.
