Hi my name is Bailey. I'm a single 25 year old mother. I'm looking to go back to work. I've been a stay at home mom due to to do things on my own. I've been staying at home for about 2 years now. Before i became a mom I was a supportive manger at Orschlens Farm & Home. Before I was promoted back in 2020 I was the Department Head for the Pet section. I really liked dealing with animals or in an environment like Orschlens. I started work here back in 2018. I had left in 2020 due to becoming pregnant and getting very sick for the first 4 months. When my daughter was about 3 months old I went back part time but that only lasted a couple months because I didn't have anywhere for my baby to go. So thats when I had to stay at home for a little while. Now that she's older I'm looking for a part time job. I can do anything I'm taught. I do not have a college degree, but I learn just as good. Back in January 2023 I got hired by the pharmacy in Boonville and became a pharmacy technician. That only lasted about a month or so because my grandmother has just passed away and I was dealing with so much stuff at that time. If I'm given the chance I also wouldnt mind trying to get back in the pharmacy environment. I'm a quick learner and I'm also very good with customer service. I've been in the customer service for 7 years. If I'm given the opportunity for any jobs I'm looking for, I promise I won't let you down.
This was a job I really liked. I was only here for a short time because my grandmother had passed away and then I had went through a really tough time with that. I was taught how to do the register one day and then they taught me how to fill medications. It only took them one day to teach me how to fill and I could pretty much do it on my own. I learned so much from the little time I was there. I loved it.
I started this job in august of 2018 as a cashier. I was the Head Cashier for about 6 months and then quickly got promoted to be the Department Head of the pet section. I threw feed, I labeled tags, labeled shelves, made sure my department was crisp and clean. I pretty much knew how to do everything in the store at this point. I had also gotten my forklift license so I could get stuff down from the shelves in the warehouse. I was also in charge of the shipping and receiving. It didn't take long for me to learn this job. Then when covid hit I got moved up to be supportive manager just in case people got sick. By this time, I had already knew how to open and close the store on my own, count down the money drawers, and did all the manager duties.
This was my first job out of high school. I started here in 2017 as a cashier. I learned the register pretty good. We also had to run clothes that came from the warehouse. That means I just put the clothes away on the racks out front. On some days I tagged cloths from the warehouse or I took donations. i also pretty much was able to do anything at this job as well. I knew how everything worked.
This was a summer job I had when I was attending high school. I wanted to start doing things on my own so I got a summer job to make a little bit of money. I painted dorm rooms at the University.
