In addition to my roles as a float nurse within Cox South, I also float between Cox North, where I work with psychiatric patients, Cox Branson (Floating to their progressive care unit, rehabilitation unit, med-surg unit, psychiatric unit, and their critical decision unit) Cox Barton County and Cox Monett (where I care for both ICU and Med-Surg Patients).

• Maintained competency in diverse clinical settings by regularly floating between units, adapting quickly to unique patient populations and environments.

• Assisted with wound care, dressing changes and NG tube placement to maintain stable patient conditions.
• Provided inpatient care to diverse population of adult neuro patients.
• Supported the ongoing professional growth of fellow trauma nurses by sharing clinical experiences, offering constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative learning environment within the department.
• Administered blood products and monitored vital signs to address immediate concerns.
• Educated patients and families on medical-surgical procedures, therapeutic regimens, and pain management techniques.
• Monitored patients before, during and after surgical operations to evaluate patient care.
