- Duties included assisting with wellness exams/vaccinations, running in-house laboratory tests/preparing specimens for outside laboratory testing, phlebotomy, taking digital radiographs, dispensing/administering medications and performing any treatments needed, performing dentals, I.V. catheter placement/fluid administration and monitoring, anesthesia administration/monitoring, surgical prepping/assisting and recovery, surgical equipment and anesthesia machine cleaning and maintenance, client education, kennel duties when necessary, general cleaning of work areas, cat grooming (lionshaves and brush-outs/bathing), calling clients post-op and post-treatment, patient restraint, answering phone calls, and helping front staff.
- Job ended due to my unease concerning the lack of compassion and quality of patient/client bonding shown by my previous supervisor/owner of the practice.
- Also, I almost lost one of my own pets due to his negligence.
- In addition, my husband was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer and I felt that I needed to be at home full-time to help take care of and support him.
- Unfortunately, he lost the battle on October 15, 2018.
- I have been unemployed since that time, due to grieving his loss.
- But, at this time, I am ready to return to work.

- Duties included the same as in job above, in addition to experience with dental radiographs, receptionist duties, and grooming of dogs and cats (shaves, brush-outs, and bathing).
- Worked for Steven Bleish, D.V.M. (Since that time, the practice has moved and is under new ownership. It is now Taylor Animal Hospital of Parkville, MO. However, Dr. Steven Bleish is still an associate veterinarian there.)
- Job ended due to the fact that too many Techs were hired vs. one Veterinarian and I had a personal family crisis occur.
