- As a Supervisor of Distribution Services I am responsible for the day to day order processing at two of Trim foot Companies 3rd party processing facilities. My duties consist of making sure that all orders are picked, packed and ready for routing through each customers transportation management system or by emailing order details to the customer. In order to ensure that orders are picked and packed properly and in a timely manner, I am also responsible for creating daily reports giving the warehouse supervisor specific packing and labeling instructions as per each customers routing guide as well as the date that each order must be completed by, and updating the warehouse manager if any changes in order priorities are requested by our clients. My responsibilities also include keeping our 3rd party clients up to date on the status of their customer's orders via email, shared reports and phone calls daily. When orders are completed, I then submit a routing request via email or by using the customer's transportation management system. Once I am provided with shipping instructions, I will create a bill of lading and schedule a pickup for freight shipments, or send shipping instructions to one of our small package shippers in the warehouse for UPS or FedEx ground. After orders have shipped, I am responsible for making sure that all paperwork for each days shipments are filed in an organized manner so that if any problems arise, they can easily be researched and corrected if necessary. My job duties also consist of ordering all office and some warehouse supplies, managing special labeling projects required by some customer's, and keeping track of billable time for those special projects. I have always excelled at multitasking and time management, and I have been able to greatly improve on those skills in the 10 years that I have worked at Trim foot Co.
