  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide care to the Advanced Heart Failure patient in a Cardiac Intensive Care setting of a Heart Transplant Center and Academic Hospital.
  • Providing high quality and evidence based practice medicine to broad spectrum of heart failure patients. Including GDMT optimization, initiation of inotropic therapies, and advanced therapy options with LVAD, BTT, and heart transplantation.
  • Management of patient requiring mechanical circulatory support including Impella, Intra Aortic Balloon Pumps, and Left Ventricular Assist Devices.
  • Proficient in Inotropic and vasopressor therapies for cardiogenic and mixed shock patients.
  • Intensive hemodynamic monitoring with Swanz Ganz catheters and arterial lines.
  • Management of mechanically ventilated patient.
  • Establish and cultivate close relationships with the heart failure, post VAD, pre/post heart transplants patients over their lifespan.
